Klint insurance guide

How Klint Works

Short answer: Ask a question, optionally supply documents, and review the explanation. Klint distinguishes educational help from insurer decisions and saves account records only when you choose Save.

Last updated . Klint educational content; not licensed advice.

General questions and optional documents

The chat supports personal and business insurance topics. Files are read for text; a scanned or unreadable document may need a readable text version. A document packet can contain up to six files, with a shared excerpt budget. Excerpt warnings mean the assistant has not reviewed every clause.

Document wording and public sources are different

Your supplied text provides policy-specific context. Linked official sources provide general background or jurisdictional context, not proof that your insurer covers a loss. Missing provisions and unknown facts should remain unknown. AI can still make mistakes; check cited wording and ask the insurer to confirm.

You control saved records

Imported details are offered for review before saving. Selected quotations and notes may be stored when you explicitly choose them; the original file bytes are not saved as policy attachments. Saved plans are editable, and renewal reminders use dates you enter rather than live insurer status.

What is not connected

Live carrier quoting, lead transfer, external email delivery and push alerts are not enabled. Provider availability and news must be supported by reviewed sources before appearing as verified. Klint does not automatically buy, cancel, renew or submit an insurance claim.
