Klint insurance guide
Understand the policy you already have
Short answer: Klint can explain supplied policy text and organize questions about limits, exclusions and conditions. Uploading is optional; an AI review is not a binding interpretation or proof that a loss is covered.
Bring the relevant documents
Declarations, policy wording, schedules and endorsements serve different purposes. A declarations page alone may not explain exclusions or claim duties. Label supplied documents so the comparison can distinguish them.
Readable text matters. Scanned PDFs may need a text version; long documents can be excerpted. Check the extraction and truncation warnings before treating an answer as a complete review.
Separate facts from questions
- Confirm the named insured, covered items and dates from the document.
- Check limits, deductibles, exclusions and endorsements together.
- Mark missing or ambiguous wording unknown.
- Ask the insurer to verify an interpretation that affects a decision.
Uploads and saving are separate choices
File text used for a question is sent for AI processing. Original file bytes are not retained as policy attachments. An optional account can save selected metadata, notes or evidence only when you choose Save. Read the privacy and AI limitations pages first.
