Keep track of the renewal date you enter
Short answer: An optional Klint account can show in-app reminders based on a saved renewal date, your timezone and your chosen reminder windows. Reminders appear when you visit; external email and push delivery are not enabled.
Enter and verify the date
Use the policy or insurer notice to verify the date. Choose the appropriate timezone and opt into the available reminder windows. Changing the date or archiving a policy affects its reminders. An unknown date is not invented.
A reminder is not an insurer status check
Klint does not determine whether coverage is active, whether payment was received or whether the insurer will renew. A reminder based on your entered date does not prove that coverage continues or predict a lapse. Check directly with the insurer.
Understand the delivery limits
In-app notices are generated on account visits, not by an unattended background monitor. You can mark notices read. Email and supported web push need real delivery infrastructure before they can be offered; Klint does not claim those integrations are live.
